Sufficient pressurization for small home theatre applications or for large home listening spaces.* 

* Manufacturer recommends best audio performance where over-compression of mid-bass and mid-range frequencies is avoided by limiting low frequency amplifier gain and reducing relative sound pressurization. In short, attenuating bass amplitude downward prevents low-frequency masking of the stereo image.
