As a company of hi-fi enthusiasts, we understand that the Vienna Series are not necessarily accessible for everybody passionate about high-performance audio. For those with a love for audio with an emphasis on budget and value, we offer a Loudspeaker Building Workshop, including lectures and demonstrations on loudspeaker building and design (emphasizing the American Minimalist school) as students build their own point-source satellite speaker systems over three to four weekly classes, using high quality cabinet and driver kits provided by us, and assembled under our supervision to ensure participant success. Like all Neiss Loudspeakers, the Workshop system is built with high-quality components designed to emphasize coherence in the spatial, frequency and time domains. Cost starts at $1,500.00 for our 2.1 channel desktop loudspeaker kit (supporting 30 watts per stereo channel and 200 or 300 watts for the subwoofer, both at 8 ohms) and includes everything participants need to assemble a complete system, including subwoofer amplification. These kits are ideal for desktops and small listening rooms. Woodworking skills are not required.
